About

Research with rigor.
Engineering with purpose.

My work sits at the intersection of academic inquiry and applied innovation.

I currently serve as a Member of Technical Staff at QutWO. My broader work spans computer vision, facial analysis, biometrics, document understanding, biomedical imaging, and generative models.

I care about systems that do more than perform well in a benchmark: they should remain robust in complex environments and create meaningful real-world value. Open source, reproducibility, and productive collaboration are central to how I work.

Research focus

Questions I am
working to answer.

From human-centered perception to generative systems, I explore methods that help machines reason about rich visual information.

01

Facial & human analysis

Age, demographics, affect, personality, gait, and dynamic behavior estimation.

  • Facial age estimation
  • Driver drowsiness
  • Human affect analysis
02

Robust visual intelligence

Reliable perception for challenging, low-data, and security-critical settings.

  • Face anti-spoofing
  • Kinship verification
  • Low-annotation learning
03

Generative & medical AI

Modern architectures for image generation, segmentation, and specialized data.

  • Diffusion transformers
